Shopping Editor

Lily is Grazia's Shopping Editor at Grazia UK. Each week she gives the readers the top trends to be trialling, how to wear them and which celebrities are making waves in the fashion world. After a 6 month stint at Grazia HQ over three years ago, after studying languages at Bristol University, Lily’s career in fashion began. Being promoted to Website Fashion Assistant for the launch of Graziadaily.co.uk she caught the eye of Grazia’s Fashion Director and was swiftly moved over onto the magazine. And following two and a half years as Fashion Assistant she became Grazia’s Shopping Editor. . Lily credits her mother for her love of fashion and above all the need for jewellery and accessories to complete an outfit. With a mother who was previously a sales assistant at uber London boutique Browns and model for Vogue, from a young age Lily already appreciated the beauty of Missoni crochet dress, a Bottega Venteta woven handbag and Miu Miu heels! Her favourite labels include Zara, Isabel Marant and Alcozer & J jewellery and is a self-confessed swimwear addict - Lily admits to owning over thirty bikinis! Her finest fashion moment has to be meeting Vogue Nippon Creative Director Anna Dello Russo – a career she one day hopes to match.

ADR rules Paris!

Lily Russo Grazia UK

I’m back from the Spring Summer 2012 fashion shows in Paris and after recovering from the intense heat and swollen feet, I thought I would share with you the fashion feast of outfits that Creative consultant and Editor at Large of Vogue Nippon Anna Dello Russo served up for the fashion crowd over the last week. Known for her rather outlandish style, Anna has made a name for herself as a celebrity in the fashion world for wearing head to toe catwalk looks.

Referred to as a fashion maniac by legendary photographer Helmut Newton some might suggest Anna to be slightly bonkers.
But at a time when the designers creating the sleekest and most streamlined collections are being heralded as genii – she is waving the fashion flag for those creating truly fabulous clothes. So if you like me want to recreate Anna’s stylehere are my top four tips:

  1. If the amount of accessories from your neck up are less than three, you are totally underdressed. Wearing sunglasses, earrings, a hat and necklace are just the bare bones of your outfit.
  2. Even in the coldest of weather – never wear tights! Keep legs toned and polished to fully display your look.
  3. If your clutch clashes with your outfit – you are doing something right.
  4. And finally, if whenever you are leave the house you are so overdressed you have street style bloggers chasing you down street – it means you finally have made it!
